The kind people at SoundPeats sent me a set of their Q12 Bluetooth Headphones for me to review. Here’s what I think of them.
The first thing I noticed about the headphones was the packaging. Some of the headphones you buy in this price range come in basic plastic packaging and you just get the headphones. Things are slightly different with the Q12 Headphones.. They come in a smart black box and along with the headphones you get all this:
- USB Charging Cable
- 3 pairs of ear tips – different sizes to ensure they fit your ears
- 3 pairs of ear hooks – again to make sure they fit your ears
- 2 clips to clip the headphones to your clothing
You also get the usual instruction manual and a nice carry case to keep your headphones in.
The headphones are very well built and as expected feel like a pair of high quality headphones. A really nice feature is the magnetic backs on both ear pieces that allow you to clip the headphones together when your not using them so they aren’t swinging around your neck.
Being wireless Bluetooth headphones they have rechargeable batteries built in. The good news is they use Bluetooth 4.1 which is more battery friendly. They take around An hour and half to charge and for that you get around 5 hours of playback which isn’t bad at all.
The sound quality is way better than other headphones in this price range. The full sound range is really clear and crisp thanks to the audio codec that is used in conjunction with the Bluetooth 4.1.
At the price of £39.99 they really are a fantastic purchase. If your looking for some comfortable, wireless in ear headphones that have a good battery life you really should consider the Q12 Headphones from SoundPeats.
